General Improvements

- Enable import functions to accept and translate true curve features to eMap layers

Upgrade of eMap viewer to V2.11, highlights:

General eMap changes:

- Improved incidents feed improving user-end performance / responsiveness (associated changes to map templates, data export services). Please note that for users of the fire.shp that is exported to Fireweb \ Mapping \ Data, the INC_NUMBER field will change field type from double, to integer.
- Modification of workflows and services to allow continued function of B&W / FMS related data
- Overhaul of database server configuration at training environment
- Introduction of service to synchronise eMap features to ArcGIS Online for use in ArcGIS Collector
- CFA resource tracking layers moved from "eMap Catalog" into main site, into existing Resource and Aircraft Tracking service

18th July 2017 - eMap release

- Updated SES logo
- 'FMIS Lines - Nominated' layer added to the Burn Search and Clear Filter workflows
- The process that places information into the FireWeb>Mapping>Data folders has been improved so that it will hopefully be more reliable.
- Update the search results for the SES Regions so that the region name is listed in the results window.
- Improvements to the base values returned to FMS about a treatment
- Airfields have been added to the global search function (This is the white "Search..." box at the top right hand corner of the browser window).

Fuel Management Standard Map Templates:

- Powerline distribution data to the Operational map template

Fuel Management Treatment information

- A huge amount of work has gone on behind the scenes to make the data processing of additional fuel management features more efficient, which means that there is no longer a delay between saving the features on the "Edit Features" toolbar and seeing them through the Fire Management layers and also the Standard Map pdfs. This work will also hopefully allow us to be more flexible in receiving information from FMS and FireWeb and be quicker in responding to business and system changes.

17th May 2017 - eMap release

-Add EMV logo to Fire Spread Prediction & Public Information Map - PIZ templates 
- Add in a DELWP CFA Bushfires Safe Layer so you an actually see where they are, rather than taking a guess from the incidents list (we will be looking at improving the list in the next release as it is rather long)
- Prep works template for planned burning

eMap Fire Management Viewer:

- Addition of the QR Code to pdf maps layer. On Start up the information from this layer will show as a black circle with a white number inside. This indicates the number of pdf maps that are available through a QR code that are associated with particular events. Zoom in to the features and hover to reveal the scannable QR code.


eMap Fuel Management:

- Fix of a bug that assigned the wrong category to tactical import features
- Added BOM Weather folder
- Improved the scale range that the burn name labels showed for the Operational map templates
- Addition of the Mineral Licences to the Consequence Report
- Enabled features from the 'Timber Release Plan' layer to be copied to the editable layers
- Fix of a bug that wouldn't allow users to delete a General Line

14th December 2016 - eMap release

Fire Management Viewer - The old "State Overview" theme is now named "Fire Management Viewer" and is a BAU tool for DELWP, PV and CFA staff around fire management operations, but it IS NOT the emergency management situational awareness tool. EM-COP is now the Situational Awareness tool for Emergency Response. Fire Management Viewer does not have the live Incident Feed. Log-in access is required.


21st November 2016 - eMap release

Welcome to the new release of eMap in Horizon.
The major change at this stage is at login! PLEASE use FFM\username instead of FIRE\username
